Dr. Akilah Cadet is the Founder and CEO of Change Cadet, an organizational development consulting firm that offers services that support embedding belonging into overall company culture, identity and strategy. As a Forbes Next 1000 Entrepreneur her work is behind some of the biggest brands you use everyday. Dismantling white supremacy through storytelling is at the core of her work as a leader, speaker, creative director, producer, writer, editor, co-owner of the Oakland Roots and Soul soccer teams, and author of White Supremacy is All Around: Notes From a Black Disabled Woman in a White World. Dr. Cadet holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Education in Community Based Public Health, a Master of Public Health, and a Doctorate of Health Sciences in Leadership and Organizational Behavior. She lives in and loves Oakland, CA, celebrates her disability, is a proud Beyoncé advocate, and has an incredible shoe game.

Sam is a creative at heart with a passion for designing experiences that drive impact. With a track record of designing creative programs and experiences for companies like Adobe, The Obama Foundation, Invisible Hand, Curative Inc, and Frieze Art Fair, Sam has demonstrated her ability to create transformative initiatives. Previously, Sam co-founded the first country music label and accelerator, Rosedale Collective, focused on amplifying the voices of Black and Brown musicians. In addition to her support of artists, Sam is a multimedia artist herself, focusing on the intersection of material culture and identity. Sam is adjunct at Loyola University Chicago where she teaches a Project Management and Social Innovation course with the Baumhart Center for Social Enterprise and Responsibility. She holds a M.A. in Civic Media, Art, and Practice from Emerson College, and a B.A. in Film & New Media Studies from Wheaton College, MA.
