Power and Privilege Workshop

Despite the summer of allyship, many Americans voted for racism in this election. The conversation about what it means to confront privilege has moved from something we “should do” to something we “must do.” It is time for true change and luckily change is in the title of our firm. White privilege is a thing, but not the only thing. We all have power and privilege. This topic examines the many forms of power and privilege like role in the workplace, ethnicity, social economic status, education level, and more. Tips will be shared on how to use power and privilege for individuals, to support others, and cultivating allyship towards a path of becoming an accomplice. This interactive workshop via Zoom will include partner work and group discussions. Suggested for those new to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, pivoting culture due to racial injustices, refreshing diversity efforts, allies, and employee resource groups.

An Eventbrite email will be sent November 15th with access to the Zoom meeting.
